My mid-back pain was gone today after 10 situps on the curved benches at El Molinito. So I'll continue the lentil experiment for a while.
I'm finding about a cup of dried lentils, soaked overnight with the soak water discarded; an envelope of Trader Joe miso soup mix; and about a dollar's worth of ground Sonoran beef from Arámburo cooks up to a tasty and filling meal. I add other stuff too, when I have it: ground cumin, garlic, cinnamon, black pepper, ginger; sauerkraut; even shredded jícama; and some epazote leaves.
