Got back from the cabin this afternoon. Found dried plums on the trees (bushes, really) this time, first time I've ever noticed fruit in any form. I gathered 10 and probably could easily have gathered 100 in that small stretch of road leading from the creek up to the southern ridge. Reconstituted them in water overnight and they were delicious the next morning.
