finally, after about 3 weeks, my brine ferments were all skunked up with kahm yeast today. all except the most recent, which as of this morning hadn't even started to sour. but it's starting to smell a little better now.
my tamarind cider is, again, not very good. it tastes OK but it's not alcoholic, and it has a weird smell reminiscent of paint thinner or linseed oil.
started sprouting some cilantro (coriander) yesterday, and some cumin today. we'll see how it goes.
