my bitcoin servers are now hashing at up to 6 Mhash/second using my new simpleminer.py and libsimpleminer.so programs. getting a difficulty-one or better hash every few minutes now. still not good enough to compete with ASICs or even GPUs, of course, but it's better than what I had. actually, both are cycling between 3 and 6 Mhash/s, don't know yet what to do to keep them closer to the top of that cycle.
